Generosity Spotlight

Rainbow House is a non-profit organization that ministers to the needs of battered or abused women in children in Lawrenceville. It operate three homes and a year-long program designed to ensure the safety of their clients. Currently, the Rainbow House serves 18 women.

In addition to sharing God’s love, they provide mental health counseling through ViewPoint to establish self-esteem and self-worth education and care. Rainbow House doesn’t advertise or promote their services on social media nor do they publicize their address in order to protect residents from abusers or stalkers.

When asked how All Saints members has helped their ministry, director Todd Sinclair said first and foremost is prayer. He is appreciative of the Christmas ministry of toys and clothing and Thanksgiving baskets. He understands the 5th Sunday offering and is very appreciative of what it provides. He said most could not realize the positive impact this ministry has on those who suffer.

As far as daily needs, the Rainbow House can use toiletries, feminine hygiene products, soap, deodorant, etc. Todd said they always have a need for laundry detergent, bleach and cleaning supplies such as Lysol, Pinesol, etc. They often can use new towels and washcloths. Rainbow House will accept cash donations to purchase items needed.
